Frankincense and myrrh are the fixatives here, so the blend lasts well on a cold-process bar.

Cautions for room & linen spray
  • Oxidizes with age — old oil is more likely to sensitize; store cool and dark (Bergamot, Frankincense)
  • Caution around pets (especially cats and birds) — don't diffuse in their space (Bergamot, Lavender)
  • Fades quickly — weak in cold-process soap or at hot throw (Bergamot)
  • Commonly advised against in pregnancy (Clary Sage, Myrrh)

Ideas that use it

Winter evening collection
Heavier, warmer blends for long nights: resin, amber, woods and a little smoke.
Drop swirl soap
Pour colors from height so they punch down into the base, then finish with a single swirl.
Decorated pillar candles
Press flat decorations into the outside of wide pillars, where the flame won't reach them.
