The short version

You can use all of Scent Almanac without an account. If you create one, we keep your email address and the things you save, use them only to run your workshop, and never sell or share them or use them for advertising. You can download or delete everything at any time from My workshop.

If you have an account

• What we keep: your email address, when you created the account and last signed in, and what you save (blends, pantry, batches and burn tests).
• Why: to sign you in and show you your own workshop. We don't send marketing email.
• Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider (Resend), which processes your address only to deliver the link.
• Cookies: one essential cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Where it's stored: in Cloudflare's database service, which hosts the site.
• How long: until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your email and everything you saved straight away.
• Your rights: you can download all your data (as JSON) or delete your account from My workshop. For anything else, contact us below.

Without an account

Your theme choice and any blends you save in the blend studio are kept in your own browser's local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page first.
